Christopher Smith

Christopher Lee Smith, 43, of Piscataway, NJ, formerly of South Amboy, NJ, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, with his dear family by his side. Chris was a Manager for Peachstate Hobby Distribution for over 20 years. He found great pride in his work, painting miniature gaming figurines which can be a very strenuous accomplishment. He was the best at his work as he undoubtedly knew it so well. Chris enjoyed spending time with his dog Spike when he wasn’t busy painting and taking hikes with his family. Just recently Chris had planned a trip to Canada with his family where he was going to hike the brisk mountainsides and take in the views. Above all he was a family man. He would spend every minute he could with his wife and son, he loved them dearly and he will forever be in their hearts.

Christopher is pre-deceased by his parents Robert and Ellen Smith. He is survived by his wife of two years but long-time partner and friend Melinda Smith and his son Jared, his brother Edward Smith and his wife Alyse of Somerset, his sister’s, Patty Katula of South Amboy and Charlene Pansini and her husband Robert of South Amboy and many friends and relatives. He will be truly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Christopher's life, Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ, 08879 For information or to send condolences to the family, please visit www.raritanbayfunerals.com
