Damion "Tito" Dotts

On Monday, September 20, 2021, at 2:22 PM, Damion Stephen Dotts was called home by the Lord.

Damion aka “Tito” was born November 7, 1974, in Bronx, NY. When he was a child he moved to Old Bridge, NJ, where he became a permanent member of the community. Known for his contagious laugh and beautiful smile, Damion had a heart of gold filled with faith and generosity. For the past 9 years Damion struggled with heart and kidney disease but kept a positive attitude through out it all, which made him an inspiration to so many. Never one for self-pity, he lived by his favorite phrase, “Keep it Moving”. Damion was always quick to put the needs of others first and helped many people.

Damion was not only a son, a grandson, a brother, but was a true friend to many. He was such a big part of so many people’s lives. Damion was a hero and will be missed tremendously.

Damion is predeceased by, his grandmother, Patricia, and his sister, Jadyn Reid.

Damion is survived by, his mother, Annette Dotts; father, David Reid Sr.; grandparents, Nathan and Valerie Dotts; brother, David Reid Jr.; sisters, Jaz and Deysha Reid, a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his partner of 9 years, Melany Bass. Damion also leaves behind several, dear close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM  for a celebration of Damion's life. Cremation will be private.
