Diane Gentzler

Diane M. Gentzler, 51, of South Amboy, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on February 8th, 2021, surrounded by her dear family. Diane was highly active in local charity events, having spent time sharing herself with, Hands Across America, Hand in Hand, Charity Walks, Salvation Army Kettle Ringer with many top awards. She was also a former member of the Peacemakers 4-H Club and the New Adventure 4-H Club.

Diane spent time as a motivational speaker, delivering words of comfort and encouragement to the handicapped and disabled. She was formally employed by the Raritan Valley Sheltered Workshop and Edison Sheltered Workshop. Diane also enjoyed traveling with her family, once traveling to New Hampshire where she made the monumental achievement of climbing Mt. Washington. Diane was such a wonderful, caring, encouraging person who is going to be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Diane is predeceased by her father, William Gentzler; Stepfather, Ralph Bailey; brother, Wayne Gentzler; brother-in-law Pink Smith, cousins, Rosemary Wiesen and Crystal Wiesen and her maternal grandmother, Helen Barsky. She is survived by her dear mother, Frances Jackson-Bailey; sisters, B.C. Romero, Sara Gentzler Smith, Amanda Renee Bailey; brother, Charles Jackson; brother-in-law, Benjamin Cummins; Aunt Linda Wiesen, Uncle Joseph Barsky, Cousin Rebecca Wiesen and Great niece Autumn Laskiewicz; nieces, Mirandarose Flowers and Winter Romero; nephews, Mark Anthony Weaver, Aaron Flowers, Joseph Laskiewicz Jr.

Relatives and Friends are invited to Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Friday, February 12th from 12 noon to 2:30 PM for a celebration of Diane’s life.
