John Lee

John Wood Chun Lee, 77, of South Amboy, NJ, Formally of East Brunswick, NJ, passed away peacefully at the Venetian Care Center of South Amboy with his dear family by his side. John was born to Bing Hong Lee and Yuet Lau Wong in 1941 in China. He was a resident of South Amboy for 17 years who moved to the Untied States roughly 45 years ago from Hong Kong. John spent the vast majority of his life as an Engineer working for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) in New York. He was an avid collector of cars who over the course of his life had collected and sold upwards of 80 or more vehicles. John would not only collect cars but he absolutely loved to travel even traveling across the country early on in his life. He also enjoyed the peacefulness of photography and above all else spending time with his family.

John is predeceased by his parents Bing Hong Lee and Yuet Lau Wong. He is survived by his dear wife Shunyi (Elaine) Ma of South Amboy, NJ; Sauling Lee of East Brunswick; Sons, Alan Lee of East Brunswick and Alvin Lee of Singapore; Daughter Jennifer Lee and many special friends he has made over the years. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Family and friend are invited to visit on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ, 08879.  A prayer service will be offered on Friday Morning at 11AM.  Interment will follow at approximately 12:30 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, NJ, 08830  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.raritanbayfunerals.com
