Johnny Soto

     We are sad to announce the passing of Johnny Soto Lopez. Soto died at the age of 55 years young on November 15th, 2022. Johnny passed away surrounded by loved ones after a battle with pancreatic and liver cancer.

                      
     Soto is predeceased by his parents Pedro Soto and Anna L. Lopez and his brother Wilfredo Soto. He is survived by his two sons that are his whole heart – Jesse Soto (Florida) and Alexander Soto (Old Bridge) He is also survived by his siblings; five brothers – Pedro Soto of Florida, Orlando Perez of Puerto Rico, Edwin Soto of Florida, Norberto Soto of Milltown, Osvaldo Soto of South Jersey;  two sisters, Miriam Soto of Bronx, NY and Betsy Irrizary of Woodbridge. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews he adored.      

                           
     Johnny was a funny, loving and hardworking person. He is loved by family, friends and coworkers at RWJBH. Johnny always wanted to go places and do a lot of activities, his favorite hobbies were fishing and gardening. His favorite holiday was Christmas because he loved giving gifts more than receiving them. When he would go out Johnny always like to look great with his signature look of a white T-shirt and nice pants with his favorite white on white sneakers. Johnny also loved working as a limo driver and wearing his suits, always looking very handsome! He loved driving limos because he would meet new people and go to places he never been to. Johnny always wanted to put a smile on everyone’s faces, he was just that person. His favorite prayer is Our Father and he used to pray all the time, he truly loved God! Johnny will be missed dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM to, Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879, for a celebration of Johnny's life.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction and care of Matthew J. Freeman, Manager and Aftercare Cremation Service.
