Rita Beers, (Patrick) passed away peacefully on November 28th, surrounded by her family following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.  Born in Nutley, Rita was a resident of Sayreville, NJ.

Rita was employed as the business manager of the Brynwood Gardens apartment complex in Old Bridge NJ for over 30 years.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Rita loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Rita was predeceased by her husband Jerome Robert Beers who passed away in 1998. Rita is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Murphy of Flanders, NJ and her children Erin, Shane and Emma; son, Robert “Bob” (Stephanie) of Lebenon, NJ and their children Lauren, Zachary, Kyle and Bridget; daughter, Alicia Demmerle (Keith) of Clinton, NJ and their children Lance and Peyton. Her brother John Patrick and sister Susann Chichila.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, December 4th from 10 am to 12 am at Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879. Interment will be at William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, National Headquarters, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601
