About Us

Matthew was born in New Brunswick, NJ in 1986 to Joseph and Tracy Freeman and resided in Edison NJ and further moved to Laurence Harbor / Old Bridge where he lived until 2006 when he joined the United States Marines. Matt was stationed on Camp Lejeune and trained as an 0811 Field Artillery until 2010. He then went on to School at Mercer County Community College graduating with a degree in Applied Science in 2015.  

For many years Matthew worked along side his father in a transportation business for funeral homes all over the state of New Jersey. After dedicating many years to the transportation business in November of 2018 Matt's family made the monumental accomplishment of starting Raritan Bay Funeral Service in South Amboy, NJ. 

Today, Matthew serves all of New Jersey proudly and with the highest level of dignity and respect to all the families he serves.  He is proud to be the first generation of family funeral directors and also hold the responsibilities of generations of New Jersey funeral directors that have come before him.
